my tummy is in knots
I went in again today. Totally lost track of counting the follies...all I know is I have a lot and it scares the hell out of me! Dr. A said that I was ready to go. I take 2 shots of the Ovidrel tonight, b/w and u/s tomorrow and I have my transfer on Thursday morning...I cant believe this is happening. I am so excited yet so friggin nervous. The only other time that I had surgery was to get my wisdom teeth taken out!

Don't worry! My understanding is that the anesthesia is a "conscious sedation"- enough that you are out of it/asleep but not so much that you need to have a breathing tube and all that. I had that done twice before- when I had a colonoscopy and when I had a gastroscopy, and other than being super sleepy afterwards, it was totally fine.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!!
Good Luck...I will be thinkng of you.
ReplyDeleteEkk!! Dont worry it will be fine. I was really nervous about mine too and it wasn't bad at all. They put you out enough so you have no clue what is going on. I felt very minor cramping if any afterwords. Good luck to you!
ReplyDeleteYou'll do fine. Just breathe, it'll be ok.
ReplyDeleteTwilight sedation effects everyone differently, but knocks me totally out. Just keep your mind on the goal, you'll be PUPO very soon! (then hopefully just PG!)
