When Nature's Not Enough - Diana Olick
This is a novel that is great for anyone who is considering or going through IVF. It's about the lives of 6 different couples with infertility and their experiences with IVF. It was a very stimulating and educating book. I read it in 2 days!
So Close - Tertia Albertyn
I am in the middle of reading this book. So far, so good. It is about one couple who goes through infertility for many years and many IVF's. It is unbelieveable how much crap she had to go through! It has some good humor too! p>
Fertility Facts - Jennifer L. Howse
This is the book that my sister got for me. It's not really a 'read from cover to cover' kind of book, but definitely good to flip through for ideas and wisdoms.
The Empty Picture Frame - Jenna Currier Nadeau
I started reading this book along with the other book "so close" This book kept my interest a little bit more. Beware: It was very sad...I cried a lot. I would totally recommend this book to anyone going through infertility or knows someone going through infertility. It also has entries that her husband wrote so it may even be a good book for a man to read too.
~tear~ I'm so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteDang! That is alot but I'm super excited for you!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's so much!
ReplyDeleteI see some familiar items. Is it wrong to miss the med taking, cause I kinda am missing them. Good luck! I know it feels overwhelming to aee all those meds, but you can do it. Here's to you having a great cycle!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have a question - what's with the two syringes of Ovidrel? I only use one to trigger... should I be using more???!!!
ReplyDeleteHOLY SCHNIKIES!
ReplyDeleteI've read about IVF through other ladies, and knew there were a lot of meds involved, but this took my breath away! I have even more respect for you ladies now. You are my heroes.
That's a lotta drugs! I hope they do their job.
ReplyDeleteWe take the same brand of prenatals. :)
Holy COW! Well all I have to say is this BETTER work!!! :) Hehe. But seriously, I am SOOO hopeful for you!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten to that point yet...so I will let you know! I do know that everyone's IVF cycle is completely different. I noticed a lot of girls were given Bravelle and Lupron both of which I do not have...
ReplyDeleteOh the joys of infertility!! Can't wait for you to get started!!
ReplyDeleteWowsers! Do you mind if I ask where you get yours through?
ReplyDeleteHoly Menopur! I did Lupron, Follistim, then Menopur but I only had 2 boxes, not 6! And I didn't even use all of the 2nd one. Looks like you're super prepared though. GL!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting!! :)
ReplyDeleteOriginally I was going through CVS Caremark to get my drugs...but for IVF they ordered it through a specialty fertility pharmacist around my area in Northern NJ.
ReplyDeletewow, that's a lot! but they'll get used up soon! :) good luck!
