MY ASS HURTS!

Well the first day of progesterone is over and done with. Lets hope there are a lot more shots to come! LOL It really didn't hurt as bad as I thought it was going to, the actual needle that is. But its been about a half an hour and my butt cheek is still sore!! I rubbed it afterwards and walked around the house for a good 10 minutes, but it still hurts. :(

I don't think I drank enough fluids this morning/afternoon because by dinnertime I was SO BLOATED I couldn't even button up my jeans. So I have been drinking and peeing like crazy since dinner and I am feeling much better. It is so weird that water/Gatorade reverses the affect of bloating! I am still using the heating pad, even if its not doing anything it makes me feel better.

I had cramping yesterday and bloating today. But that is the extent of it. Lets just hope it stays that way!

  1. I'm glad you're still peeing! When you stop is when you should worry. I'm glad the inj didn't hurt too bad, but sorry your butt cheek is sore! Those are IM right? I hate IMs. ugh

Did a 'test run' with my extra diluent tonight so I officially have given myself my first injection ever!!!

  2. Oh I remember that pain. Did your RE not give you the cream that numbs it before hand? That is the bestest! GL with the shots I hope this cycle is the one for you!

ps~Wowzers, you must have SUPER Ovaries to produce 19 eggs!!!

  3. Sorry about your rear! I've always thought it was funny that adding MORE water to your body takes down bloating.

I hope 'shooting up' continues to go well!

  4. Just a tip, ice your hip/butt before the PIO and you won't even feel it...get it good and frozen. Sounds like you are on your way to a good recovery...it took me one week to get rid of the constant bloat...so hopefully you are almost through it all!

  5. yay for the first PIO shot! Oh, and get used to having small hard lumps on your butt from the shots too. And itching at the site. I'm still itching and I haven't had a shot in a few days.
