Ok, so I have been on Progesterone shots since May 5 and I know that it gives you a lot of side effects i.e. sore boobs, tired, crampy, nausea, pms symptoms....I have read all of that. But my question to you ladies is....does it make you pee a lot? For the past week or so I have been peeing like crazy. I even have to get up in the middle of the night to pee...and I have NEVER done that before.
I have a friend who has a health degree and she told me that pregnancy can make you pee a lot in the first trimester due to the hormones in your body and the third trimester due to the pressure the baby puts on your bladder.
So of course this is driving me crazy!! Am I pregnant or is it just the progesterone shots playing a dirty trick on me!!! I was just curious if any of you girls have had this symptom while on progesterone.

I'm sorry I can't answer that question for you! I wish I could. But yes peeing a lot was a sign for me... which I brushed it off as a UTI until i found out otherwise!
ReplyDeletePeeing was a sign for me. I took the endometrin vaginal inserts instead of the PIOs. Ya never know..hoping it means you are knocked up :D Love and Hugs!!!

ReplyDeleteIn all honesty, though, I can't recall anyone citing frequent urination as a s/e of prog. I'm crossing my fingers, toes, eyes, EVERYTHING for you!

ReplyDeleteI peed a lot! (still do)I get up at least 2 times a night even now! But that was definitely my very first sign of pg. And I was on PIO too. Not sure if the pio causes frequent trips to the potty but I'm guessing no. It's the hcg in your system that makes you have to go. I think that's a good sign! When are you poas'ing?
