Snow, snow...go away! I thought we were done with snow and we just got dumped on! Almost 10 inches! I had a delayed opening this morning - not too bad but I wished I would have just taken a sick day. I didn't really get what I wanted done yesterday and it would have been nice to get it all done today.
The weekend was okay. Jay and I went to Dave and Busters (for those of you who don't know what that is...its an adult arcade!!! There is food, booze and video games) We had a lot of fun, but being that I haven't drank in the longest time and I was feeling sorry for myself, I ended up drinking myself into an oblivion.
That is the reason I got nothing done yesterday, because I was hungover ALL DAY on Sunday. This is why I don't drink. I really hate drinking. I would rather hang out with a glass of wine and get a little giddy than get drunk and not even remember the night. Well that was my one night of drunkenness - good to last me for about a year!
TTC news - nothing really, still have 2 more Clomid pills to take...

LOL I'm the same way! DH makes fun of me because the day after I get hammered (once or twice a year) I always say "I'm never drinking again!" Glad you had a fun weekend, though! We have a Dave & Buster's here, but don't make it down there too often.

ReplyDeleteI am so like that two. The one or two times a year that I overdo it I'm just cursing at myself afterwards because it's just not worth it. I don't know how we did it twice a weekend in college... crazy! Hanging out with friends and just having 1 or 2 is way more fun nowadays. Gosh, I sound old. Anyways, boo to snow. We got a few inches too... and just when I was thinking it was springtime. *sigh*
I meant to say too, not two. Gosh, I need to proofread my comments before I post them. I do know proper English, I swear!
ReplyDeleteI'm with ya - I'd rather have a glass of wine or a martini in my hand - then a tone of drinks and not remember the night! Thankfully, we got no snow up here (Ontario) It was just a really cold, day.

I hear ya on the snow stuff! Ick. I was like 15 degrees here this AM. I'm so ready for Spring! Dave & Busters is so much fun. We just went there in Jan and had a blast!
