I can't believe it
I weighed Mackenzie last night and she is a whopping 15 pounds. She is 3 months old and had DOUBLED her weight. I read that a baby will double their weight at 6 months and triple at a year!!! At this rate she is going to be HUGE at a year old :)
I do like her progession I must admit. She is a little bit of a heartier baby. Her neck is very strong and she has been able to stand on her feet for a while now (with my support of course). It makes me feel better about leaving her at school.
She can't stand just staring at the ceiling anymore. She wants to sit up and look around. I had to pack away all the infant bouncers/seats and bring out the jumper and highchair! Even when you hold her she wants to be upright and looking outward. No cradle hold for Mack. She is funny - total personality showing through.

Sounds like she will be a handful ;) She will probably walk/crawl early on.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool, reminds me of my youngest niece. She was standing up (with help), wanting to be in the middle of the action, and even trying to talk at 3 months too. That must mean they'll be geniuses, right?? :)
ReplyDeleteWow! She is going to be a hand full when she gets older! Sounds like she is doing so well.
ReplyDeleteI bet she will be walking ahead of time. Annika is 6 months old, just doubled her weight and never puts any weight on her legs! I love having a big baby too.
